it's pretty unlikely. your husband would have to be a direct descendant of the child that his great grandmother had with an american for him to carry the gene, although strange things do occasionally happen. as someone above mentioned, brown eyes are a dominant gene, so the child would have to receive a blue eyed gene from both you and the father in order to actually have blue eyes. from your description, i would say that is remote.

Like Chica said the eye color should not matter as long as it is healthy and can actually see.. ever thought of that ?
Anyhow there is thing called genes . no , not the ones you wear around your *** ! It depends which gene is more dominant than the other.
Black Man Black Parents
China Woman China Parents
Certain traits are more dominant than other.
Child one Straight China hair, mixed complexion Carmel.
moms genes for these traits are stronger than dads and he is the dark one ....
Get it ?

I likelyhood is slim. But the likelihood of ur kid having black hair and brown eyes is a more prominent chance. But anything's possible. My cousin married an Indian guy with green eyes(he's the only one in his family with green eyes). I have another cousin who married an Indian guy who looks American. Meaning, he's got red hair, white complexion, and freckles! He looks Indian, and his mom is very fair skinned, but no one know's where the red hair and freckles came from. But there's proof that the British probably screwed ppl in every country they conqured.

Anything is possible. In all likelihood she will be born with dark eyes. They may change to blue. Its not set in stone. Does it really matter what color the baby's eyes are, just as long as the baby is Healthy & Happy!

No, the brown allele is dominant. Unless his is not full Chinese, it's not possible. But as long as your baby is healthy, I don't think it should really matter, should it?
