I think its really unique. I know they might not like the name in there teen years. But i didnt either! Until i heard people say I live your name and stuff. It makes me different and thats what shes going to feel when shes a little older. Shes just lucky its not a common name because theres no unique in it! I love the name. And just because people wil not know how to pernounse it, its okay because its a beautiful name and she'll get comments saying it is. Then she'll really feel special!!

I like it. As for people who tell you your child will be picked on, ignore them. I have 4 children and here are their names:
Annika, Gunnar, Rogue, and Liliana. All of my children have been highly successful academically, socially, and in any athletic endeavors. One of my daughters has won a four year scolarship to a university, one of my sons has had his fiction published, my other son is an all-star football champion, and my other daughter is a state champion in track and field. So I say a different sounding name does not lead to teasing and bullying, but a lack of parenting will!

STOP! Why do you want to curse your child with a name she will ALWAYS have to spell out to people for the rest of her life?
Always having mail coming to her house misspelled, constantly having to repeat her name, "excuse me Mame is that America? Or Emerson? Or Marisa? Your daughter is special enough. Give her love and a sense of Independence instead of a complex.

Emerisa is adorable and gorgous. I think that she will walk with pride with that meaningful name, and anyone who gives her crap needs to get a life.
And if she doesn't like it, she can always go by Em.
I wish that people made names that had meanings behind them.

i think the name Emerisa is a very unique name i have never heard of it before but i do like and it is very creative how you thought of this name and a meaning of it

emanuela means God with you.. it is a very nice italian name..Emerisa sounds graceful but i don't think I would name my daughter like that... My daughter name is Aurora (the sun that rises in the morning dawn)
