I have two very dear friends that I met only last year and they threw me a little x-mas party because when a friend that lives in dallas gets together with me I would just get a nice meal in a restaurant and a couple of drinks but nothing really christmasy so my friends throwing me a christmas party last year was the best gift that I ever recieved.

In the last, I don't know how many years I started to collect turtle ornaments or any kind of turtles for that matter. A few years ago a friend of mine bought me a crystal turtle that I really wanted and I forgot about. When I opened the gift I burst out in tears. I love it soo much!

When I was a kid we always went to my grandparents for christmas eve, we'd eat and open presents. one of the presents I got was this doll named Danielle (my name is Danielle). It had pigtails and came with a bunch of outfits. At the time I thought it was cute and fun to play with but I didnt think much of it. Years later, after my grandfather died, my grandma told me that he was the one that found that doll and got soooooo excited about it and just had to buy it for me because I was "grandpas lil girl" So I didnt realize that that was the best present I got until much later. But before my grandmother told me this story, I had that doll in the hall closet. My mother cleaned one day and she threw that doll away, and by the time I realized she had, it was too late. When my grandmother told me how much it had meant to him I was completely heart broken over it and I'd give anything to get that doll (and my grandfather) back. But I just told my grandma I still had it, because I knew it meant alot to her too.

My boyfriend gave me a cell phone one year and I thought that it meant he wanted me to be safe. He is now my husband. I loved that gift because I was working 2nd shift and came home in the dark.
