Why is Swiper the Fox so hard-headed? Why doesn't he stop after the 1st time?

Because Swiper is 2 1/2 years old. Haven't you ever had to deal with a toddler? You have to say everything at least 3 times before they even know that you are speaking, let alone to them. I think Dora is getting off easy with just 3 times.

may be Dora is giving swiper 2 chances to stop swiping their staffs and the 3rd time is for swiper to finally give up

If you have kids,, you might know that we have to repeat everything more than once or twice to them before they really open their ears and listen. Swiper, being a fox (maybe a child fox) ,,, maybe he needs more than that. lol

I guess they do that because the show is for the preschool audience and they learn better with repitition. Sucks for the parents who watch it with their kids though.

because that whole show is secretly a big bash on hispanics and in doras neighborhood he wont know your telling him to stop stealing because everyone else is stealing too so you have to say it three times till he figures out you're talking to him

because if he did not listen the first time then she going to tell him to stop again and again . and its a show any way , some show are not made to make since.
