You are not overweight. You actually lost more weight quicker than normal. It takes many women more than a year to lose their baby weight.

First of all, no you're not overweight...second if you feel that way..think about this....
It takes 9+months for your body to adjust and grow a baby and prepare to give birth.
It takes at least 9+ months for your body to get back to prepregnancy hormons, health, etc. Once your body is back to the way it was before pregnancy, then you should be able to lose the rest of your weight easier. ALTHOUGH; that is not always the case, there are many women who gain weight during pregnancy and can't lose it ALL. They can lose some or most but not all. So, if you FEEL like you're overweight now, just continue to eat healthy, exercise, and don't worry about being six pounds more than you were before pregnancy. Being a mom makes a woman more beautiful than she was before pregnancy, no matter what she looks like after having a baby. Best wishes, and enjoy being a mom!

The only thing I have to go off of is the Marine Corps standards. And that's for fit women who have to follow certain standards in order to stay in. At 5'4, the Marines allow a woman to weigh up to 135 lbs, so I guess you're okay. Like I said, that's the only thing I have to go off. I'm sure you just feel overweight because for 9 months you were bigger than normal due to the pregnancy. I wouldn't sweat it.

Your fine, it's six pounds. Your body just went through a big change, and it's likely you don't feel overweight, you just don't feel "the same." The six pounds will disappear over time and effort. Join a gym to firm up and lay off the junk if applicable. But don't starve yourself, especially not if you breastfeed.

You are still only 6 ponds heavier than your pre pregnancy weight and bub is only 5 mths old. I think that is pretty good going considering the weight you put on. Your body has been through so much, and is still recovering. Just eat well, gentle exercise and plenty of rest. Just give yourself time.

Not at all. Six lbs. is not a lot and it's probably water weight. You have a beautiful child, so if it means having to deal with 6 extra lbs., then so be it! :-)

It depends on how much body fat you have and how much lean muscle mass you have. You can go to a local gym and have them do a body fat analysis. They will tell you what is a normal range of body fat percentage for your age.

But from the sound of it, you are not overweight, although you might "feel" overweight because your body is not toned.

you had a baby! i think that you are fine. you are only 6 pounds more than what you were before. congrats on the baby, and love yourself as you are. if you feel like you need to lose weight, then eat sensibly and exercise. don't starve yourself, or else you and the baby will suffer. hopefully, your husband is not making rude comments to you. just be happy with yourself. i think you're fine.

Nope you are not overweight. You seem to be just about where you should be. I am posting a link to a height and weight chart and you can look for yourself.
