Hello There
I have a PC computer and I would like to put a video I made on my computer to a DVD. I dont have a DVD burner though. I have seen DVD burners for sale on the internet and I was wondering if I could get a burner and somehow add it to my computer. If I could do that then how? or where should I go to add it?
Thanks In Advance

Go and buy an internal one, open up your pc and install it into an open bay. If you don't want to do that, buy an external one and plug it into an open USB port on the PC. Best Buy or Circuit City or CompUSA are places to go

You can easily add the dvd burner yourself.

All you need to do is open up your system and you will find cables going into your cd rom and hard drive. The smaller ones are the power cables and the one with many small holes are the data cables.

You will see unused power and data cables in the system. Attach these to the DVD player. just be careful that the RED sides are always TOWARDS each other. you can refer to the cd rom and HD and you'll know what i mean. Insert the cables the same way. Start your computer and have the BIOS detect your dvd, install the driver if needed and its done.
Else you can take your computer to a computer shop from where you will be pirchasing the DVD player.

Yes like the other guys said just buy one, they are real easy to install. There is only one way it goes in, one place it can be screwed in. Just make sure that every thing is unplugged when doing this.

Unplug computer

slip off side panel

pop out a spot for it

slip it in

screw it in (make sure the screws are hand tight a couple more
turns if necessary just until it dose not move)

Connect the right cables to it ( Will look like the ones you CD Rom has. If you do not have any in there you may have to buy 1)

put every thing back on

plug it back in

and done

you will need a DVD burning program too of some sort just and the file(s) click burn and done.

You can buy a DVD buirner and install it in your computer if you are reasonably handy. It fits in a CDROM slot, and should be the "master" if you also have a CD drive. You will also need DVD burning software, often it comes with teh DVD burner, so read the fine print.

If you are in over your head, talk to any Computer Repair Person.

It has not some thing to do with the ribbon(cord). somewhat your dvd stress must be having a slot next to the slot to connect the cord to dvd. It has oftentimes 8 pins and it have a small jumper. there'll be jumper configuration given on your DVD Burner to make it draw close or slave. Use it to make one in each and every of your Burner draw close and different one slave.
