You could have compression leaking from head gasket into cooling system causing air lock . Try bleeding the air out first if that does not work have a mech ck it for blown gasket

You need to bleed the air out of the cooling system. The low level of coolant is causing the temp sensor to go from being in "coolant" to being out of it and exposed to hot steam, etc. Manual has instruction on how to make sure all the air is out of the engine and just coolant is in there.

Sounds like your coolant is low. Check for water pump leak as these will leak with very little trace of a leak. If the fluid is low with the heater being the high part of the cooling system its the first to get no coolant. No coolant no heat.If coolant is up then it possible your thermostat is sticking.good luck

you might have a leak in your coolant system, and you probably also need a new thermostat

low coolant. this system has bleeders. find them, open them until coolant comes out. (engine running)
