how can I use my laptop as a monitor for my desktop?

You would need a USB video capture device for the laptop and a PC to TV converter for the desktop. the desktop would output a VGA signal, convert it to NTSC. The video capture on the laptop would then display the output of the Desktop.

set laptop as a network comp and get a router that way u can network both computers
