Alan was the best, tho my sister was a Derek fan! I still have the trousers and T shirt and can still fit into them!!!!!!!!

Okay, I'm a guy, so rather than comment on the band, I will speak to their songs....
My favorite song by BCR was "Saturday Night." This taught me to spell......S A T U R D A Y, Night!.....they repeated this about fourteen times in that song! I also remember them playing on American Bandstand once, around 1975, out on a beach somewhere in California.

Lol! Probably Eric only b/c he strongly resembles Paul McCartney & Paul is the Man in my book. I have no clue about them as individuals. But I have a clear memory of seeing them on tv one night in 1st grade & loving the melody to 'Saturday Night'.

Funnily enough, I saw Eric last year.
He was going into a house, "somewhere in Southern Spain"- carrying a guitar case.
The guy looked vaguely familiar and -it turned out- , thats who it was. He's still jamming, and - apparently- still plays in the local pub occasionally.
