Has anyone out there had any problems with Pep Boys? I took my truck there for the check Engine light being on and they gave me the $700 run around. I would like to know if anyone out there had any trouble with them and what did they do to help themselves?

I had a friend who had similar, but less costly prblems with Pep Boys. I would not use them. REport them to the Better Business Bureau and the state Attorney General's Office

From what i've got seen they're junk. i know three people who've had them and that they consistently wreck down. 2 of them end interior the 1st week. the worst had to have the engine replaced after some million/2 hour of use do to a broken valve. the different one had the ignition device fail whilst it replaced into approximately 5 days previous. The 0.33 one in basic terms fell aside i don't know the main factors different than it replaced into thrown out whilst it replaced into decrease than a year previous.

Give us some more details on the vehicle year make and model, and the problem you were actually having. The price might have been legit. Maybe we can help you with the problem.

Way over priced. Not good knowledge(they don't pay good) One customer of mine got a quote for $500 on P/S pump. I did it for $250 included parts and made a good profit too.
