Almost everyone knows the music company gives out a lot of these awards.
Doesn't this really benefit the record company, that is lagging in sales and profit on this band, if they so call "WIN A LOT OF AWARDS"?

What makes you think that the Dixie Chicks don't deserve the nominations? They do. They make excellent music. Just because some narrow-minded people don't like them based on their political preferences, doesn't mean they stopped being great musicians.

the Dixie chicks rock! After what happened three years sgo they're finally getting the publicity back and they have a great song-Not ready to make nice. I think its for real

I don't quite understand your question. I find it interesting that they received such a public flogging for speaking out agianst Bush's war years ago and now over 2/3's of the US population agrees with them.

you mean the grammys? they are not given by a music company.
