Well it probably wouldn't hurt! But a good old bath or shower should work just as good and if that smells then the rest of you probably does too so I would stick the the full makeover and not just mask it with purell :)

Nope - try some of that gritty orange stuff mechanics use after working on greasy engines. That should kill the smell or your fungus will wash off.

Stop dipping that tool in nasty places. Find a nice jewish gal with a kosher habit.
