You can get a hot glue patch to slide under a hole after you cut it. Just cut a matching piece from under the seat and iron into place. Looks like new.

Used car dealers have mobile detail suppliers who come around and fix minor upholstery problems. What I think they do on carpet burns is to find some extra carpet fibers from an area that does not show and glue them in the spot that is bad. If you don't want to do that yourself, you might ask a used car dealer for the name of his mobile detailer.
