Oil every now and then will come out from where the dipstick is. This time, not only did it come out, but it sprayed everywhere and obviously caused a lot of smoke! What could this be from? Could it be as simple as just needing a new dipstick? OR, is there too much pressure build up in the oil? SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!

Your crankcase is being pressurized for some reason., check your PVC valve. Are you sure your putting proper amount of oil in engine? Check compression this could be caused by excessive blow by at the rings. I have seen rings spin on the pistons and the ring gaps line up causing this problem. The commpression should read around 200 PSI on each cylinder, and should be with in 10 PSI of each other.

It is possible that there is too much oil in the crankcase.( the engine) Another cause is a blown head gasket. Expensive. Also a blown piston will give similar result.. If it has low power and in general runs lousy it is one of the two latter conditions.

sounds like to much pressure, i would check the pcv valve and the breather tube. they are in either valve cover. if both of these are ok make sure you have vacuum at the pcv valve (remove the pcv valve and start the engine and check it that way) if you dont have vacuum I would start looking at the hose and vacuum port for carbon build up, if thats ok i would start looking further into the engine

My bet is that someone put mickey mouse(no offense to the rodent) valve covers on it and eliminated the crankcase vent that ALL CARS NEED TO HAVE.

I like John's answer. Top the oil off, start your engine and see what happens. Also, check to see if the oil smells like gasoline.

Good luck.

check and make sure you have vauum at throttle body base. may have to remove it and clean the carbon out. if rings were bad, would be smoking out of exhaust.

it's a sign that your piston rings are going bad..... the compression is going past the rings into your crankcase.

Also check your PCV valve and make sure it functions properly.
