hey i'm a chic and i know just as much as my man about football! I watch the games all the time with him and sometimes yell out the penalties before he does and yell at the tv when it should have been a penalty and was never called. My man doesnt seem to care one bit! he actually thinks its cool!

Quick ploy if you are interested -
If you don't already know them, learn all of the referee motions for penalties called during a game.
If you are watching with a group of guys and someone argues that they know more than you do, challenge them on this.
That is always funny when the woman wins the sports bet and makes the trash-talkin' guy look bad.

I do. I hate having to sit and explain what is going on. In fact, I broke up with a girl once that spent an entire Ohio State game asking, "Is that good?" That was the clincher and I split up with her the next day. It's not a necessity to know what is going on, but you should have some intelligence.

hell yeah we do (well at least i do) for me, a woman who knows football is a woman who knows a way to my heart. Now now, don't get me wrong ladies, i am as romantic as I am loving but when it comes to football it's great to have a woman who knows her stuff. *side note* she must like the Jacksonville Jaguars, lol j/k, she can like any team, just as long as when my team wins she admits we were better haha.

My mrs has started getting into football, she recognises good football. Offside rule, no idea.
It's ok actually.
Beats the crap she would normally watch, and she's generally quiet.
