my friends ps2 started to suck it takes like 5 minutes to read a game. I think is the eye how can I clean it. I promise to choose the best answer.

Go to a store where they have CD lends cleaners and run it through about 1-5 times until it works. you could try blowing in it but will not work the best. The only other option with out chance of recking it is to get it cleaned professionally.
The one I have works real good it is called Carbon Edge Pro from Allsop. It looks like a DVD with little brushes on the other side

They sell DVD cleaning disks that work well. I use a Blaze DVD Laser Lens Cleaner from xploder.net, though that may no longer be on the market.

Very carefully with Q-tip and alcohol or get the Gamesystem cleaning disk.
