Im 14 and im a level 5! that bugs the C**p out of me but hey i can do the skills and so can they. They probably started before you and got more experience at it. You'll get it if u decide to go back. I started gym last December and i already skipped level 4! i won one meet in level 4 and they moved me up! I hope u decide to go back its an awesome sport! Hope i gave u a step forward to goin gym again! Take it from someone who hated being the 13 year old in a beginner class with 7 or 8 year olds who decided to shine and kick it up a notch!

You are not too old to do tumbling classes. I am 14 and i am on level 3. It took me a whole season for me to learn a backhand spring. And guess what? I learned how to do a backhand spring on the last day.. You just have to keep on practicing. Don't give up. I know you can do it. I was also in a class with younger kids. Two kids where in grade 6, and the other 2 where in kindergarten, and i am in grade 9! But next season i am trying out for the teen gymnastics. So you should try to find a group with people your age. But dont quit! That is not the way to go. Just keep on trying~E-mail me if you have any questions! By the way~ HAPPY_BIRTHDAY!~ 13 is an awsome ##

No you are not too old!! I am 14 years old and started gymnastics 3 weeks ago. I had little prior experience. I am with younger kids, but I am now mastering the skills faster because my body is stronger then theirs!!
You are never too old to try something new if you are dedicated and are willing to work hard!

This problem sounds very familiar. My daughter is 14 and recently quit tumbling because the younger kids seemed to master things much faster than she did. She was embarressed, and finally stopped going. I have recently looked into getting her private lessons. She enjoys cheer and tumble very much, and this way she will not worry about what others are mastering and focus on getting better herself.

objective has some low-fee ones and the place she is enrolled they could have slightly keep that sells products. yet daughter all started while she became into 2 and we offered some leotards from her gymnastics college and a few at objective (reason they are alot greater decrease priced) yet another selection is you ought to purchase some on ebay. as far because of the fact the little tights that is purely rather as much as the moms and dads.

your never too old... many gyms have older gymnastics for people your age which you might want to consider... tumbling in itself is usually taught different than in gymnastics tumbling... but its a good option too if they have it for more people your age

Practice makes perfect! Not too old... but if you want to try something else, why not? Try a dance team or something like that...
