if i were to say a sentace and it ended in u.s. would i put a period at the end of u.s.

like if i where to say it is part of the u.s..
would i put a peridon after the u.s. like i did or no.

First of all you should ALWAYS capitalize U.S.

Second Spell out the word if you are ending a sentence that way..K?

Dont listen to anyone that says yes. No, you dont put another period at the end of a sentence like that one because it already has one. But it would be preferable, in those cases, for you to spell out the word United States instead of abbreviating it.

I wouldn't end the sentence with "U.S." I would write out United States. But if you did end it with U.S., only one period, not two.

Well, if you want to get into the technicalities part, writers should not end a sentence with an abbrreviation.

yea because anything that is at the end of a sentance always need a period or what every like thews ? ! . any of those
