2. resembling snake: like a snake in motion or shape ( literary )
3. cunning: untrustworthy and cunning, as a snake is conventionally thought to be ( literary )
4. mathematics curving: relating to or being a complex curve that is symmetrical about the x-axis and has a convex central part
However any word can be given a new meaning.

Serpentine means snake-like. Either in a literal or figurative sense.
It's not specifically feminine or masculine.
