Whenever this text comes up on her machine it freezes her screen and starts replicating itself along the bar at the bottom of the screen and the only way I have found to escspe it is to manually reset.

If a process named lexplore.exe is running on your computer, you may have been infected with a strain of the Sodabot worm.

This is spyware. Download and install SpyBot and Ad-Awarefrom download.com. Both are free and both are necessary today to keep computers free from adware, spyware, trojans, etc.

She needs to keep these up to date, and run them daily, if she is on the internet a lot. I update Ad-Aware 2-3 times a week and SpyBot 1-2 times a week.

if it is IExplorer.exe that would be internet explorer and it sounds like you may have a virus
