Not really, silence is absence of sound, so there is no way in which your ears can feel any sound waves. BUT, they might reverebarate due to flow of blood in and around the inner ear and they ear drums. Hence you tend to "hear" the deafening sound (only possible when it is absolute silence otherwise)

Yes, it is the sound of a lonely, empty house ... the sounds of the heater turning on and off, the refrigerator motor, the floorboards creaking, squirrels scampering on the roof ...

all i hear is me talking to myself in my mind. never do i hear silence. when i do hear absolute silence its interupted by a ringing or buzzing or something i hear in my head.

yes, its what happens when you turn the tv off, the cell phone, the computer, phone, lights, hum of the fridge, idle gossip....thats why few usually do....too uncomfortable for most, makes them think about things they have no answer to....much easier to let the mindless sitcoms wash you away.
