Only if you're a bible thumping conservative! Which not everybody is... The bible has some good morals but is outdated to our lifestyles. Where does the bible talk about freedom of speech, or the right to a speedy trial? What would we do with out our amendments?? That would not be a country I would want to live in. Those who didn't want to follow the rules of the bible would be under persecution and that is the whole reason that our families originally left England to come to the wonderful USA!

Yes, becasue the Bible was written a few thousand years ago and is so much more relavent than the Constitution which is only about 200 years old and written by a bunch of radical revolutionaries who didn't no what they were talking about. The Bible is the word of God the constitution is jiberish. Need I say more?

Of course! Don't pollute the environment running the country on coal - burn Bibles! There is already such a huge supply that it would last for decades at least and it's not a resource we even need to renew, so who cares if we use it all?
Brilliant!

look what happened in Britain after henry the 8th established an official religion. people started leaving the country and if you didn't follow the religion they killed you. that's why it says in the constitution that congress can't make an official religion in the u.s. the framers didn't want something like that to happen here.

No,that would be granting favoritism to one religion, called a "theocracy".
The US of A is not a theocracy. It is a Democratic Republic that grants freedom of religion to all citizens.
(as long as a minority of Republicans dont ammend THAT constitution also!)

No, because countries are multi-cultural and made up of many faiths so that wouldn't figure.
