I just walked out to the kitchen and my top got hooked on the door handle. I screamed. I thought I was being mauled. Is that classed an assault ?
(A door hit me once too. It says I walked into it, but I didn't. It hit me fair and square)

My door does that too - it grabs me by the sleeve of my cardigan. I scream every time! It must have something against me, I'm sure.

I say get the yellow pages and consult with an attorney immediately! Get paid!!!!
Make sure to get teary eyed and tell them that the doors actions have forced you to be scared of all doors and now it causes you trauma to go anywhere and you have to wait for someone to open the doors before you can go inside. Due to that reason, you have lost a few jobs and are now receiving social security!!!

Per code 6534379 that is not a felony assault. However, you can have a restraining order placed on the handle. Personally, I wouldn't put up with that kind of behavior.

Sounds like you got the same problem my ex did. He always thought his body was out to get him...so maybe your house is out to get you. I'd call the cops...turn that sucker in and get a restraining order against it, so it can't come within a mile of you. Oh wait. Then you'd have to move. Well, whatever.
