troy smith is favored by many but last night at the awards banquet quinn beat him out for the Maxwell award. thats like the next biggest award next to the heisman. is that a sign to come or did college just want to make it interesting

Troy Smith will win the Heisman. I doubt they would give Quinn the award, he's just a sophmore. I think you're hearing about how Troy Smith is going to get upset is because sports news people need something to talk about.

Troy Smith is a lock to win it. I think some award committees just want to make sure that Smith doesn't win *every* award, so Quinn got the Maxwell. Smith has already won the Davey O'Brien Award for the nation's top QB, as well as the Walter Camp Foundation Player of the Year.

Troy Smith. You have to realize that a ton more people vote for the Heisman than the Walker and that there are only 3 people nominated this year, so Smith will get many of the votes that the 4th and 5th guy would usually get. Troy Smith will win by a huge margin
