can you get cramping around your expected period but still be pregnant?

i thought i had implantation bleeding the other week bc i had spotting and i never have that. i am feeling a little crampy today but still no period. i am going to test tomorrow.

I did consistenly for the first three months. If you're pregnant, your uterus has to loosen up and grow a lot in the first few weeks, which can cause cramping like a really bad period. I found that laying on my stomach over a very soft pillow helped to massage my uterus, relaxing it and easing the discomfort. It sounds weird, considering your belly is kinda swollen, but it's feasable for at least the first 2 months.

Yes and that actually is one of the signs of pregnancy but since its normal to get cramps before your period you never would pass it off as a sign of pregnancy. But it happens!! Good luck on the test... I hope its what you are hoping for!

Going thru the same thing now. When I was pregnant with my 3 girls I always felt like my period was coming , but it never came. Good Luck!

some women will spot around the time of theryre period when they are infact pregnant, i spotted with my babies in the first month or two and then it went away. so yes.
