Lee Hendrie

Currently on loan at Stoke City.

Since Lees arrival, the club has gone from strength to strength. Up to 7th in the league and 6 clean sheets in a row. 5 of those were wins orchestrated by the midfield maestro. His vision is awesome, passing second to none (although Salif Diao would argue the point, also on loan at Stoke). He's also chipped in with 3 great goals, the best of which was a fantastic free kick against Leeds Utd. a game which the Potters won 4 - 0.

Im a Preston supporter and would have to say David Nugent. His pace and passing of the ball stands out on the field and we expect him to go in the January transfer window to a Premiership club. You will know what i mean then.

Clearly no one knows what you are talking about. What is the championship? Is that like the English premiership only lame. I would answer Ryan Giggs in any case.

So not the EPL...the Englis 1st Div.? Who cares? I'll take George Best or Eric Cantona over the best player nowadays. Soccer--the sport where goals go to die.

i would have to go for stephen elliot, bieng a sunderland supporter i know exactly what he is capable of and when he is on form he can score goals fo fun.
i remember a goal he scored a few weeks back, a long ball was sent upfield and he let it drop over his shoulder and he caught it on the volley! bang! across the face of goal, keeper had no chance, great goal!
