what do you write to a friend you have not talked to in 10 years?

How about How are you & What have you been doing for the past 10yrs? Or, I can't believe its been 10yrs, sence I last talked to you this has happened & that happened. If they really are a friend, then they will just be happy to hear from you, I won't matter what you say. It might be easier than you think. Good Luck!!!

First of all, why have you not talked to this friend is so long and why do you want to now? If there was a problem, perhaps you should start the letter going over the reason why you stopped to being with. Good luck.
