In your opinion...?

Ladies, what has been the best Mineral/Powder foundation you've ever used? It could be pricey, like Bare Minerals, or the cheaper stuff you can buy at Target, Wal Mart etc. I just want opinions because I've recently given up on liquid foundations, and I have painful cystic acne, that will not heal no matter how much I cleanse my face throughout the day. I am hoping that switching to something purer will give me some hope. Thanks

I cant say enough positive things about Bare Minerals. It blends well, feels good & covers amazing. Seriously, I hate to spend money on makeup but after using it, I can never switch back to anyother type of makeup. One tip though, dont over wash your face, you mentioned that no matter how often you cleanse your face the acne wont clear up. If you wash too often you are stripping your skin of its natural oils, it over compensates by producing excess oil & can cause more acne. (just a little tip, dont mean to preach!) I have also tried Sheer Cover, but to me, it wasn't as good of quality and the colors didn't match my skin as well. Another one I gave a shot was the Neutragena one, which was a waste of money because I couldnt even get it out of the brush it comes in. Loreal one wasn't bad, but more like a regular loose powder, rather than a full coverage makeup like Bare Minerals. Good luck to ya!

I personally haven't ever used these products, but my very good friend sings her praises for them. I know they are expensive, but it really pays to go for the good stuff. Bare Minerals is the best, by far. The other, cheaper, brands work well but don't protect your face. Bare Minerals won't heal your acne, but i really think it will make a difference. It won't clog your pores, so it won't get rid of what's already there, but it should help to slow the spread of the acne. One more tip: Don't cleanse too much! You don't want to dry your face out, this will cause your skin to produce more and more oils, making the problem worse. Instead, wash and use astringent in the morning and before you go to bed. Use a spot acne treatment for the really bad areas whenever you can, especially right before you go to bed. The best brand is definitely Clinique. I hope I helped!

I use bare minerals everyday! I have found that is by far better then the liquid fountions i have used in the past! Bare minerals is pretty pricey but it last a long time, and best of all it is oil free and it absorbs oils on the face (if you have naturally oily skin). It is worth the money. Like i said it lasts a long time cause you don't need a whole lot of it to make your face look better, plus it is really easy to apply and fast and it lasts all day and you can sleep in it to!

Your face could be sensitive to liquid foundation. Stop using it. I have never used liquid because it plugs the pores and it makes The face extremely oily. Change your facial cleanse too. I can swear by Proactiv.... The deep cleanser and the facial lotion and the oil free sun block ( you can buy it at Main place mall in city if Orange). If you can stop using any foundations or powders all together. It harms your skin and ages your skin. But if you can't be without makeup whatsoever, try Physicians Formula.

I love Bare Minerals I would defenitly try Pro Active for acne. I promise it is the best stuff I have ever used. I had an acne problem and now my face is as clear as ever. I have friends that started using it because of my face. Also Bare Minerals will help you so your face won't break out like it does with foundation. GOOD LUCK

If thats you in the picture you don't need make up. But i have answered many of your questions and most of the time i would recommened bare minerals and i still do but now people also say that everyday minerals works and its cheaper but it's prob. not better. Personally if thats you in the pick you don't need and makeup only the daily stuff like mascara, eyeliner, shadow, a lipgloss.

I use Neutrogena Clearing Tint. It is very light and you cannot even feel it. It doesnt cake on foundation it just lightly tints your face and does well to cover up acne. It also has salitic acid to prevent and treat acne. I have perfect skin now but use to have pimples. I think it is the best thing I have ever used. Good luck!

Bare mineals is the best I've used. It offers the best coverage, that I couldn never get with any other powder. It offers better coverage than all my liquid foundations and doesn't make my skin oily like they did.

sheer cover because its light and it dont look your wearing any makeup unlike other Powders or Bare Minerals is really good i tryed it and loved it :)
