Easy, just let them know that you are not interested. You can still have a friendship and not worry about going to bed with them. After all, how many heterosexual people do you that you are not interested in?

I'm not interested.
I'm not all about tact. In fact, I'm pretty bad at that. But I get it overwith quickly. Although I do have a tendency to ramble...So I would expalin why. I've always felt a need to justify. This is because I was never allowed to justify my actions--even my thoughts!--when growing up.

Well remind them you are not gay forst and then say "I am simply not interested. I hope that you can respect me and let this drop" If they don't then you might need to end the friendship.

Well your friend should already know that you aren't gay, but if they don't you should tell them.

Tell him, believe it or not we can be very understanding. We're not pigs. Tell him straight out you don't like him that way. Most of the time it does not affect the friendship. Just tell him, just not in a rude way. Peace.

It's as simple as that .. just say you're not interested. And if that person is really your friend, they would respect that.

explain to them that you value their friendship and wish it to be nothing more than a friendship. help them to understand that you are not gay and that you do not wish to be hit on, let them know if it makes you uncomfortable and if it compromises the friendship.
