I like date themed gifts. A gift card for dinner, a bottle of wine, and maybe movie tickets.
Other ideas could be a massage gift certificate or a night at a cute bed and breakfast near by.

I don't know what your budget is, or what their likes and dislikes are, but here are some ideas:
A day at a spa.
A gift certificate to a restaurant they like to go to.
Magazine subscriptions on topics of interest to them.
A holiday floral centerpiece.
Membership to a wine of the month club, cheese club, etc.
Tickets to a theater production, symphony, opera, etc.

A gift card to their favorite restaurant and movie or show passes so they can have a night out together. Awwwwww! Then maybe throw in a nice sweater for dad and pocketbook for mom.
