for number 7 i got x = 29

Not all are correct, the follow numbers are incorrect: 7,8,11,13,14,15

For number 7, you didn't answer it. But basically you would solve for x by getting it alone on one side.

For number 8, the numeric part is correct you just forgot your units.

For number 11, you didn't add correctly. When you add a +5a +2a, you don't multiply the a's.
the same question can be written as: a + a +a +a +a +a +a+a
since 5a is five a's and 2a is two a's and a or 1a is only one a.
The trick to solving problems like these is to just add the coefficients, which in this case are 1,5,& 2; and then add the variable at the end of the number, which in this case would be 'a'.

For number 13, again you don't multiple the variables. Remember since they both have the same variable 'xy' all you need to do is subtract the numbers and then add 'xy' at the end of the number.

For number 14, you can't subtract two things with different variables. In this problem you would distribute (multiply) 10 to both 2a and -6b
the answer would be: 10(2a) - 10(6b)
you can simplify it so that there are not parentheses.

For number 15, you didn't solve this problem. In order to get the answer all you need to do is add things that have the same variable.
we can rewrite the equation as:

9x + 3y + [(-1)(5x +y)]

which simplifies to:
