I will be moving next summer and I've lived in Georgia my whole life. I love winter, water, the outdoors, animals and seafood (lots of it). Where can you suggest?

I would suggest Portland. I live in New Hampshire and have been going to Maine all my life because my grandmother has been innkeeper at numerous inns along the coast. Also, my mother lived there when she was a young adult. Maine is a beautiful state and sounds perfect for you. Portland is great because, as said, it's close to New Hampshire and Massachusetts, but it's also right on the coast, so you're near the ocean, it's a city, so there's a lot of businesses, job opportunities, etc., there's the Old Port which is wonderful, and there's some fantastic seafood restaurants, like DiMillo's Floating Restaurant. It's a wonderful part of Maine.

Hope I could help and I hope the move goes well! Good luck!

I like Portland. It is close to NH and MA and it is a great area.

I would suggest a nice house. It is too cold to sleep in a tent year round.

Bangor. It's close to everything you want, and the crime rate is low. See http://bangorinfo.com
