I have to go to an 80's party 2nite and I don't have ANYTHING from the 80's!!! I went to the Goodwill and didn't find anything.... I'm lost. Any suggestions on putting something simple together?

poofy high pony tail

not all of this together, just whatever u have :)

Yes! This is really corny but so perfect: Buy a sweatshirt in a horrendous 80's color. Lime green, purple, hot pink etc...Cut the arms off: voila! matching legwarmers! Cut the neck out and use some of the fabric to make a headband/sweatband thinger. Then you will have a awesome/heinous 80's aerobics outfit, totally coordinated : ) Good luck and have fun!

Okay, 80's were about fitted jeans, parachute pants and a lot of safety pins, especially if you were in the punk scene. We also had ripped jeans, women wore short skirts, scrunchies and tights and lots of bracelets and heavy makeup. Plaid was also in for some. Remember the jeans were very fitted. Think of madonna, eurathymics, etc. Look up information on 80's music and you will find examples that you can use. Lots of bright colors were also popular. Good luck and have fun.

that shoudl be easy with all the 80's style clothes out. you can get leggings pretty much anywhere, try targe. Pair them with a denim skirt, cut a tshirt to go off the shoulder and tie the bottom on teh side.
And of course you need the side ponytail, get some cheap blue eyeshadow (like wet and wild is really cheap).

bye a cheap mans white collared dress shirt that is a little big (but make sure it is long) get a tank and some leggings.Get a big bright color (if you can find one) patten leather belt and put around the middle of your waist. get some thick bright socks (the same color as your belt) cut the foot out of them and wear some cute close toe pumps. tease your hair up and put on bright make up. there you go a cute yet simple outfit you can wear for your party (and comfortable don't forget that).

I'd be rushing too! This is the kind of stuff I would do...
-Bright lipstick (pink or red)
-Heavy blush (as pink as possible)
-Tease/Rat your hair, scrunch it, make it as big as possible. Put it into a SIDE PONYTAIL with a brightly colored scrunchie. If you dont have one of those, i guess it doesnt matter :)
-Loud clothes, anything bright, polka dots, stripes, neon yellow, orange, pink, fish nets too!
-Big, gaudy jewelry
-An over sized sweater with black or bright colored leggings
-A big belt around the long oversized sweater (that style is back in right now, so hopefully that works good for you! )
-bright blue, or bright purple eye shadow...bright red finger nails
-Chewing a huge peice of gum and blowing bubbles adds the last touch! lol
Hopefully you can work with some of this stuff

Leggings with a tunic or oversize shirt. A kahki skirt and a polo shirt, pearls and a sweater tied around your shoulders (for the preppy girl look).

You don't say how old you are, therefore the only thing I can suggest is: did you check with your parents or grandparents or older friends? You might be surprised how many things you can find FREE OF CHARGE! Another thing you can check is Army & Navy Stores (depending on where you are). Good luck.

Forever21.com and Wetseal.com have some 80's inspired clothing for girls. I would go looking like Madonna back then if you're a girl. This is what my guy friends did for Halloween and it was hilarious and a big hit at our party:

Chances are, you can find a friend who's a bit bigger than you are. Take one of their long sleeves or sweaters and wear it under black fishnets! For legwarmers, you can take knee highs and cut off the feet. Tease your hair and go for Madonna-esque makeup!
