What genre of movies have the spiritual themes, like horror, comedy, or whatever?

I dont know if you have ever watched native american movies-but Smoke Signals is one that WILL make you cry...and check out some of the movies tantoo cardinal was in..and adam beach hes sooo handsome..some of the ceremonies one sees in these newer movies(not ones with j wayne) theres a LOT of spirituality in them...to understand spooky-you gotta understand spiritual through native movies...respectfully

I dont think it needs be genre specific. Spirituality can come in even the most violent film. I just watched 'Sin City', for example, and found plenty of spiritual concepts.

oh god!! it's got to be the Passion Of Christ.. horror because its bloody..very spiritual, and comedy?? well i think it was funny how they over did it with the blood and he did not die after the blood loss..sorry.. i am a nurse.. i was kind of thinking medical at that point...

if you mean spiritual as in 'containing many spirits ghosts and demons' then horror is your best bet. if you mean spiritual as in 'spirituality or religous content' then horror is still your best bet. good examples: the exorcist, the omen, poltergeist, constantine, etc.

hmmmm...... i might say the genre depends on the writer/director and where they are trying to go with the plot and all that but if i had to pick a movie id say.......butterfly effect

I think it depends on where you get your movies or rent.It also depends on what you mean by spiritual.Go to your local (popular) video shop.
