yeah I do think so and the only reason he acted the way he did on Oprah was cause he already knew she was pregnant and was about to become a father for the first time when he probably taught he'd never have children.

I think that is true. I think that he only did that because she was indeed pregnant (with his child? who knows), but
I still think all along the lines this was a publicity stunt. I mean, he was married to Nicole Kidman (and look what she is going through: her new husband, Keith Urban, is in A.A.) and before her, there was Mimi Rodgers. Then, after those two marriages that he abrputly ended, he was with Penelope Cruz. All of a sudden,he is with Katie? How? she is, like, 22 years younger. And, what do they possibly have in common? The fact that she always idolized him-and that he idloizes himself? Oh, no. I think Mimi was in his way of him being a superstar and with a more glamourous woman. Then with nicole, he adopted two kids but ended that before the pre-nup deadline because she is a Catholic and he was trying to get the kids more involved with Scientology. With a strong willed woman, that was a no-no. So, he ended that. Dated Penelope (because she was beautiful) but, she is also a Catholic, so he ended that. Now, you have no wives, 2 kids, your movies are not so great, you are not the top story anymore and you found out that this little young lady-from t.v.'s "Dawson Creek" is a huge fan of yours and then-out of the blue-you are dating her and then she is pregnant? What? Wow, manipulation is a powerful thing to the young, star-strucked and gulliable.
not only did I think he married her because he knocked her up, but because that was his ticket to keep her in his mind control of her. She can't do nothing without his approval it seems like. He got her wrapped around his finger. And that, is what he really could not do with Mimi, Nicole or Penelope.

I think she is being held against her will in some way and was left with no other choice. I give this marriage about 2 years at the most. Tom is a very phony person. Behind her cute smile, I see a lot of suffering and regret already.

People who marry because of pregnancy do so before the birth of the child not when the child is 6 months old. It's invogue to hate Tom but it's unnecessary - he's a good guy who had a little crazy time, he apologized so let it go.

I think that Tom is the kind of man that needs to have a woman in his life. I think he likes being married, so that's part of the reason he married Katie. However, I think he also doesn't know how to pick a wife (hello 3 divorces!!!)

Yah I know, when i was reading an article not to long ago it said to go to imdb.com to see the age difference tom was born in 64 and katie was born in 78. And Katies dad said that when Tom Cruise was acting and she was young she had posters of him all over his room. Isn't that weird?
