i am stuck on what to buy this guy at work. the budget is £5. this guy is really quiet at work, ppl do talk to him but he doesnt give much away. i dont know what to buy him. no one knows what his likes and dislikes. its driving me nuts. and the deadline is wednesday. can you help. i need an idea and website from you. the best answer gets 10 points and a big kiss..lol thanks

A nice shirt , you have to see what he wears I mean you see him when you work with him so his style you see each time . And by looking at him you should be able to know about what size he wears , and a C.D player with it so he can buy his own music to listen to because he seems like a loner , but maybe not after you do this for him . I also say scope out his desk for clues. A lot of guys are into nascar or that crazy Larry the Cable Guy. Wal-Mart has some nifty little gifts for $5 - $10. Nothing else get him a gag gift. Give him a jar with beans in it and call it Bubble Bath.
Be creative. Ask the guys at the stores for help. The associates can point you to some inexpensive things in their department.

I got a guy for secret Santa once. The limit was $10, but I ended up getting him this little flash light that opened up and had screw drivers in it. He really liked it. I think it was closer to $10 but maybe you could find something closer to $5. Everyone can always use flash lights and screw drivers.. Good Luck :)

Everybody should get a Chia Pet for Christmas. It's such a funny gift. Or, get him a gift card to a place where you've seen him eat lunch, or drink coffee.

Scope out his office for some clues as to his likes/dislikes. Look at photos, desk gadgets, etc. Check his cell phone brand and model and get him a phone accessory.

Unless you know something about him, your best bet is to get him a gift card. You might also want to think about how he dresses at work, and buy him something similar to what he usually wears.

If he drinks coffee get him a pound of ground gourmet coffee.

Lots of good suggestions here so far .... food is always good ... a small basket of cheese and crackers, chocolate, homemade cookies, a fruit cake, etc.

i cant think of any bottle of good wine that you can get for that price although it is a good idea
get him a pair of boxers with hot peppers on them lol
or a car wash voucher for that price that is close to your work, if he owns a car ..............that is something i never want to spend money on but really like to have
