My ISP is sbc/yahoo and I have 2 laptops connected to a desktop. One laptop connects with a card and the other with built in WiFi. Right now I use one router for the card and another for WiFi. I keep having firewall and password problems. The tech told me I need a 2 way interchange router supported by sbc/yahoo. Does anyone have a brand name or recommendation?

I would purchase a wireless/router/gateway from one of several vendors....

Many of these routers also include a built in swich with several ports. This device will allow a connection to your internet 'router' from your ISP and also allow you to share the connection between your laptops (via WiFi and Copper).
