My friends think it is weird to go from not caring about music to loving rap. I just feel alive when I am listening to it. I don't think I am going through a mid life crisis but they aren't so sure? Who is right? What is your opinion on this?

thats ok, wat would be wierd is getting a powerful car sterio system and blasting down the street. you should totally do it, you would be the coolest lady ever!

No . You have come of age. I started loving rap at 37 years of age. No it is definitely not a mid life crisis in my opinion. I love all kinds of music and I love to dance. When I listen to rap I come alive in the best way. Is a turn on for me. Age should not be factored when it comes to what you like. Enjoy it because you love it. Have fun.

Who cares if your going through the crisis or not- what matters is that it makes you feel alive. Some of the lyrics I don't like but I sure move to the beat, ( I'm 48) ;-)
PS recently I learned to love Jazz Music- who would of thought?

Good for you!!! No its not weird!! I am happy for you, music is beautiful and expresses so many feelings. I love rap music as well and I am glad you like it!! Your friends think its weird because they aren't like that, but who are they to judge?! What music do they listen to?! You don't judge them right?! Get down wit your bad self!!! lol, Music is good for the soul and if your soul feels good listening to rap music, then turn that **** up!! Good luck and bump your music louder then anyone!!!

that's a huge age hollow once you're 18 and have have been given lots transforming into and changing to do. yet as you become older, the age hollow will grow to be smaller in that experience. he's have been given greater to rigidity approximately than you have - he won't replace lots yet you will. the subject rather is whether or not you're properly suitable in terms of goals, attitudes and so on. If the relationship works on those center stages you could recover from the age concern.

Well I'm only thirteen and I like older 60's classic rock and 50's music, so no, it's not weird. Good for you! And yeah I agree with the guy that posted before me; get in your car and go blasting your stereo at full volume down the street. :D!!

If you enjoy it, you enjoy it. Maybe you were just waiting for the right type of music for you. Enjoy what you like, and it that happens to be rap, so be it.
