my GPU is a geforce 4000 mx and it is overclocked the temp is at 84.3F is that to hot?

Nope, not at all, as long as you keep it under 70C you should be good... not sure how much it is in F, but it's definitely more than 84.3 :)

The threshold for my GF7900 GTX is at 100 Celcius which is equivalent to 212 F.

When this point is met, the card shuts the computer

However 84.3F seems pretty damn cold. Are you sure that it is'nt celcuis ?

If so look for dust in the fan. It might be stucked

No not too hot, of course no video card in the history of time has ever operated at a temperature that low, unless you happen to have it on the best and most expensive liquid cooling system in the world, and even then it still seems a little low. So either you sensor is wrong, or that is in Celsius which means it would be getting up there, but not too hot.
