No, it's not a form, of abuse. It's more an act of betrayal on your part, since she probably trusted you to not judge her and probably give her some advice, granted she also betrayed her boyfriend by cheating on him. The only way that it could possibly be a form of abuse, is if you were to attack her verbally or physically, or perhaps slander her name by calling names to her boyfriend. Did you also think that maybe it's not your place to tell her boyfriend?

Seriously? No it is not abuse. It may be considered abuse on her end. That she cheats on someone and lets them carry on in a relationship that they believe is safe. I hope this poor guy doesn't contract any diseases, or spend a bunch of money on her for Christmas, or decide that he is going to propose over the holidays.
If you know him at all you have an obligation as another human being to tell him that his girlfriend is a tramp!

Did you hit her, did you mentally attack her? If not then there is no abuse. Tell your friend he has a right to know. Us guys must stick together.

Not abuse. Technically its extortion but its de minimus, too minor for the law to act.

No its not abuse. It's called being honest. She should tell her bf she wants to date other people. She doesn't love him if shes cheating on him. I would stay out of it thou. You won't come out the winner.

its not a form of abuse to me but i think you should just let them handle their own problems. she will confess if she wants.if you get in it then you'll only be putting your friendship on the line.

I think that you may be doing the right thing she might not think so but if she is cheating she must not really like him that much.

Abuse, no. Blackmail? Perhaps.

I think that she is totally stupid. Abuse would be if you said "you cheat on my friend again and I'll kick your a**!" That would be wrong.
