They're a pretty good band. Never be megastars but their singer has an amazing voice. Saw them live in Leeds in 1999 and at Nottingham a couple of years back. Check out the song "Near Distance" from their first album. Awesome.

Ah man, that takes me back. I think i saw them at reading fest a few years back. yeah i liked what i heard. Gotta try and dig some out now! Cheers : )

lead singer has a high warbling voice bit feargal sharkey
i do have an album called after much debate i suspect ,er, pure essence !!
