How'd you feel if you were to go up against Magic, Bird and Jordan. Not to mention Barkley, Olajowon and Malone?
80's win easily.

Unfortunately the thug scumbucket self serving egotistical players of today would win. The players of the 80's were much more fundamentally sound and played much better team basketball. . . however. . .todays athletes be it naturally or via drugs and steroids are much faster, stronger, and can jump higher. If the officials were from the 80's as well then the 80's players would have a much better chance. In the 80's they actually called most fouls and they also called traveling, palming the ball, and three seconds in the lane. NBA now stands for Not Basketball Anymore. It is more like rugby or football. The officails are horrible. . . they let them beat on each other for 58 minutes and then in the last two minutes they decide the game. . . not the players. The NBA is boring and lame. The college game is much better. . much much better! Except for Duke. . . Duke sucks!

Ths is a tricky question. My personal opinion is that today's players would win the series in 5 games. But as you said if the series lasts 7 games, then the 80s players would win the 7th game.

The players of the 80's would absolutely dominate. Today, the starting lineup would be...
PG: Dwayne Wade
SG: LeBron James
SF: Carmelo Anthony
PF: Timmy Duncan
C: Shaquille O'Neal
Back then, it would be the greats
PG: Magic Johnson
SG: Michael Jordan
SF: Larry Bird
PF: Karl Malone
C: Patrick Ewing
80's would own.

If the 80's team had Michael Jordan, well there would be no question. I think the modern players would get mad, start a fight with the fans, and the game would get cancled... most likely.

dude, 80s would kick ***. You got Magic, Bird, Dominique, Jordan, Abdul-Jabbar, Dr.J, just to name a few. They are more fundamentally sound, better passers, shooters, more agressive than the players of today.

80's.
Today's players are all showboat and arrogant. How many Olympics does that powerful team win? Ya, that's what I thought.
Bird and Magic, nuff said.
