Do you guys ever mess with all the telemarketers?

And if you are a telemarketer can you understand why people get soo mad?

My favorite thing to do is to tell them that I don't have a phone. Then I ask them to hold on, set the phone down and walk off... they usually hang on for about 10 minutes but I hae had one last an entire 45 minutes waiting for me to come back.

I used to be a telemarketer. I hated it, but it was a job. Dont be too much of a jerk. I know i used to take pride in getting the customer mad. Only way to pass the day.

I have caller ID so if it comes up with Unknown Name and a 1-800 or 1-866 I just open the phone and let them hear the noise in my house Most times I can hear them say Hello Hello it is sometimes fun and they usually do not call back.

I love it when they ask me how I am. That gives me the opening for about a 10 minutes speach I use about my ailments,. my dogs ailments, and anything else. I usually keep going until the hang up.

Another favorite is the phone companies who start they pitch saying they want to give me "10 cents a minute". I always ask if I will be getting my checks weekly or monthly and can they do direct deposit" Drives them nuts. If I am really lucky they will transfer me to their supervisor. I then tell the super that I want the service. They switch me back and I start all over again. Drives then crazy.

You repel them by using brilliant up while they start making a pitch. then your telephone variety could properly be referred to from different telemarketers and you could not be afflicted by using the. it works for me after 5 telemarketers telephone calls

Yeah- this one company kept calling us and one time when the guy asked for my dad, my mom said that he wasn't here- he had died from a heart attack from getting really mad at telemarketers. They never called back again.

Not really...they are just trying to make money too. Why don't you go mess with all the corporate execs who are ripping you off and making far more than any telemarketer could dream of?

If I get a telemarketer - I let my 3 year old talk to them - and she will just babble away, they always hang up - or I will turn the tv up really loud and put the phone by it - or I will chew obnoxiously in the phone & smack & slurp & belch - that always gets them to hang up!

as for me being a telemarketer i do just the opposite to people like u. if they give me attitude i just keep going tell they get so pissed and and start cussing at me while i sit there and laugh after they hang up.lol

with that being said u guys are taking it out on the wrong person.we don't make what we call cold leads that means that we just get your name out of a phone book and call it.we get our names from people u do business with like your bank or credit card company's. they are selling your name and info to places like us.what u need to do is call them and tell to take them off their list as well because even if your on the nantniol don't call list we can still call u if u do business with that company

Keep them on the line as much as possible. When it comes time to pay for the item, or switch, fake anything and put them on hold. Then you lay the phone down and don't come back to it. For real phone, create dialog like you are having sex or something violent and see how long they stay on the phone.
