My theory is this Bugs and Sam got really wasted one night and made love. Sam fell in love with bugs and wanted a commitment but bugs is a player... a one hitter quiter. Sam just hasn't accepted that yet and is still quite upset. Bugs didn't think sam was very giving in bed sorta a selfish lover if you know what I mean

I believe that Bugs Bunny started the whole ordeal by aggrevating Sam first and ever since then these two have been at it trying to out-do each other and trying to be the one who gets the last laugh.

TRUTH IS....
The reason Sam is so peeved with Bugs is that Bugs is A BETTER SHOT - and Sam can't handle the idea that there is someone who can shoot better than he can...
I'm the rootinest, tootinest, dog-gone shootinest East, West, North, AAAAAAND South of the Pecos...."
And Bugs still shows him up every time....

Yosemite Sam is a gunslinger / hunter / marksman. Same as Elmer Fudd.
Bugs is a 'varmint', so he is Sam's natural born enemy.
