I used to. When i was younger i was trying to hide my homosexuality and used to call others gay. I hated the fact that i was attracted to a man and i was a totally mean and angry and a depressed person then. So i would lash out at anyone who would upset me and it was an awful time in my life. I have since embraced my homosexuality and enjoy it a lot.

No, I don't. It may seem like it's not a big deal to some people, but to high schoolers who are gay and hear that every day, or to people walking down the street who are gay and hear that from others, it's hurtful.

Never. I only use it to describe a homosexual man, or to describe a happy feeling. I don't think being gay is derogatory in the least, nor is the term.

Personally no, I don't like the assocation of a negative, but I don't much care when other people do.

Yeah. Which is sad because I'm bi. But, it's just so common, i guess i picked it up. My roomate even says 'my job is such a homosexual' (she doesn't know i'm bi). It doesn't bother me in the least. Guess I'm just comfortable like that.

No. I have gay friends and I don't want to be disrespectful towards them. So I don't.

No. Only teenyboppers use it in that way. I'm a mature adult and prefer to use more witty terms for things I don't care for.

It doesn't make sense when it is used in that connotation. I started saying that things were so dirty assed breeder. ie. this job is so dirty assed breeder.
