When I first moved to this city, I didn't have any friends, so one of the ladies I worked with befriended me and let me join her circle of friends. My life was an open book with all of them, thanks to my friends keeping everyone abreast as to what was going on with each one of us. To make a long story short, when I decided to marry this guy I had been dating for over a year I eloped and didn't tell anyone until I got back. Now lo and behold everyone seems to be treating me different. Sort of like the black sheep. There was another girl in the group who did the same thing, but no one seemed to be mad at her. What's the deal with treating me like I did something so horrible. Is my so-called friend at work dogging me behind my back?

Actually, it seems like they like the other girl more. She's been in the clique way longer than me.

It all could just be your imagination, because you may feel like you should have inviting them. It also may be jealousy from them as well, but the most important thing to remember is you and your new bless husband is your best friend. Sometimes Yahweh takes people out of our lives to improve our lives. Marriage is a choice blessing that He has allowed two hearts to shared life as one, so remember if they ain't for you there not for you. PEACE!

Jealousy. Your friend may be talking about you but obviously they have no lives because they have to talk about yours. Just ask yourself one question when you have catty friends like this: Are you happy?? Put yourself above the office gossip--jealousy can make people do thoughtless and crazy things. Forget about them--you have a new husband and life ahead of you.

If these are really your friends you should have told them before you did it, it means alot to have friends at weedings or even just to know.

Maybe your friends don't like that other girl as much as they like you, so they felt left out when you didn't tell them.
