because we always complain that Hollywood doesnt cater to us and this Mel Gibson epic casts, sets and is for us. We should all watch this movie and bring it to the number one box office this weekend.

I for one will not be seeing it...I think it looks like a piece of garbage

Very true, very true, although the money we spend to watch the movie will be going to everyone BUT latins LOL Although Mel Gibson is kind of an *** to me now (not because of what he said but because of the sorry apology, at least stick to your beliefs!) I'd keep an open mind and watch it.

YES! We latin americans have always been portrayed as wet-backs or drug dealers or all just Mexican for that matter. Even though this movie isn't exactly accurate but still is a great chance to se our Mesoamerican roots. For latin americans world wide is a great chance to identify with it and say "hell, I'm proud of having at least one bit of that in my genes". Here in El Salvador I wish for this movie for people to stop alienating about USA (no offence guys) and start looking inside the salvadorean froteer, to their roots and heritage (eventhough maya presence was short).
