Everyone thinks they have all the answers when it comes to running our country. Bush is just an imperfect man like the rest of us. Don't you think we are weakening are country when we bash our president. I believe people in the middle east take joy in this because how can you destroy a great nation? by dividing its people and turning them against their leadership. That how. Our country has never been more divided. Show some pride respect for our country and president. And when the next democrat come in office I will try to do the same.

I am a republican also, but I regret voting for Bush now. I do not agree with everything that he does but I have to live with it. I don't bash him, I just try not to talk about him at all. Every President has to go into office and try to fix what the last President did or didn't do. They are also like puppets on strings because of Congress. I could never run for President much less want to. I wouldn't want to be responsible for peoples lives other than my family.

Took the words right out of my mouth. And the truth is...every president gets bashed because so much of politics is not about 'the people'..it's about retaining your position as governor or senator and getting votes. When one administration is in power, the other puts all their efforts into detracting in order to help the possibility of winning the next election. I'm a Bush supporter and I agree, the man has not been perfect. But he stands on what he believes and he's not afraid or swayed by a little criticism. We need more leaders like him.

I AGREE! People should realize that everyone is human, and he is truly doing the best he can for our country. He is not perfect. No President is perfect. But he was elected twice, and we should respect the office, and our country.
Even when President Clinton was being impeached and I personally did not approve of his actions, I still gave him the respect due to his office. People need to be more civil and courteous in my opinion.

Absolutely, political advantage is NO reason to tell lies and run down the President. It only benefits our enemies.
I am reminded of a story of a child admonished for fighting with his sibling, he replied, "It all started when Johnny hit me back."
I can understand why Democrats would be unhappy that they lost 2 elections to George W. Bush and no one could blame them for working hard to get their person into office, but to deliberately undercut the President's efforts to do his job goes way beyond reasonable.
