they are taking nintendo wii off the market because of a copywright issue. It seems that a california interlink company already had this idea about the trigger remote, such as the wiimote. They are now ceasing the nintendo wii because of this.

WHAT KIND OF CRAP?!?!?!?

Another frivolous lawsuit is at our hands here. and Nintendo will more than likely not take anything off the market until and if there is a trial stating that Nintendo did indeed infringe on this so called patent.

Don't believe everything you here hunny....or your going to end up like 98% of the people who believed in Bush.....

added:
and this isn't the first time Nintendo has had to deal with someone calling a copyright infringment on them....a TX based company did the same thing...and ummm don't think they got anything either.

The complaint demands that Nintendo be enjoined and restrained from further infringing on the patent, presumably by taking the Wii off the market. Furthermore, the filing demands that the court order Nintendo to pay Interlink three times the assessed damages, including prejudgment interests and attorney fees. Additionally, the plaintiff is demanding a jury trial of any and all issues pertaining to the case.

It's not being taken off the market. That;s only part of the complaint for copywrite infringment.

I dont think of its legal, yet I even have heard that it relatively is achievable to repeat a nintendo Wii interest and play it without enhancing the Nintendo Wii. you in basic terms might desire to purchase a definite CD Burner...i ignore which one. do in basic terms a seek on google and yahoo and there is utility which you may use additionally....stable success!

it's not off the market.
they're not going to stop production just because some company wants to sue.
its been months since the wiimote was unveiled, and they just barely got around to suing?
