Yes, you're supposed to clean it.

I wash it with the rest of my body every day in the shower. It's no big deal.

Yes, depending on how much chub is around it and how far it indents into you abdomen. The further in it goes, the harder it is to clean. Belly buttons do stink and need to be cleaned. I would suggest putting some soap on your pinky and insert it into your belly button and rub it around, almost exactly how you would clean your pooper. Also, if you sweat alot, i would take a cuetip and swab it with deodarant and rub that around in there also to alleviate some of the stench during the day. Good Luck

Lint gets in there if you wear clothes. You need to clean it so it doesn't get stinky in there. It also can get warm and make a nice place for bacteria to live. That can cause a bunch or problems, like a rash or worse. Plus no one wants a stinky belly button.

Well, like any part of you body it needs cleaning. I do it with a cotton ball or a q tip and alcohol.
